Attention: Next course start reprogrammed to October 2021
The pandemic spread of the COVID19 virus and the associated challenges have had dramatic health and economic consequences worldwide. Many countries are still at the peak of the infection and are trying to protect their fellow human beings by a lock down of the state.
Tourism has been brought to a standstill worldwide and a light for this industry is not yet in sight. Despite or especially because of this development, a sound education is essential to revitalize and develop sustainable tourism in the future.
For this reason, the Austrian Development Agency and the Salzburg Tourism Schools have agreed to postpone the start of the 56th scholarship program until 1st of OCTOBER 2021. This is to ensure that all applicants have an equal chance to participate in the course. The course duration will remain from October to May as usual.
Important: Please note, that the new application deadline will be March 1, 2021. Applications can still be submitted by email as well as by post. Furthermore, we would like to point out, that we cannot say exactly whether there will be Embassies that will temporarily stop their visa operations again next year. Therefore, it is currently not possible to say which applications can realistically be considered for the course.
The ITH team wishes all effected countries all the best for the upcoming year and is looking forward to a start in October 2021!
