Attention: Next course start reprogrammed to January 2021
The pandemic spread of the COVID19 virus and the associated challenges have had dramatic health and economic consequences worldwide. Many countries are still at the peak of the infection and are trying to protect their fellow human beings by a lock down of the state.
Tourism has been brought to a standstill worldwide and a light for this industry is not yet in sight. Despite or especially because of this development, a sound education is essential to revitalize and develop sustainable tourism in the future.
For this reason, the Austrian Development Agency and the Salzburg Tourism Schools have agreed to postpone the start of the scholarship program until January 2021. This is to ensure that all applicants have an equal chance to participate in the course.
For the first time in the history of the Institute, the academic year for the Diploma Course in Tourism and Hospitality Management as well as the Teacher Training Module will be reprogrammed to the period 7th January 2021 to 31st July 2021.
Consequently, the application deadline will also be extended to 31 July 2020. Applications can still be submitted by email as well as by post.
The ITH team wishes all effected countries all the best for the upcoming future and is looking forward to a start in January 2021!
